CALORIS 18
Located at the southern tip of Mercury's northern hemisphere’s Caloris Planitia, Caloris 18 is a former site of TITAN activity. The base was a solar power relay station operated by the now-defunct Lukos hypercorp. Vanya Ilyanovich, the facility’s AGI, was apparently compromised and used to eliminate the staff and take over the complex. Evidence exists that the AGI then engaged in a series of high energy physics experiments that ultimately led to its destruction. No one will ever know for sure as Caloris 18 is under strict quarantine.
Sentinels are strongly cautioned to avoid Caloris 18. Operatives violating the Caloris quarantine will not be extracted. Even if their cortical stacks are recovered, they will not be resleeved, due to the risk of infection. Caloris 18 is a place of permanent death. Do not go there.
